Wenatchee Real Estate... aplenty
Earlier in the day I posted about the building boom going on in the Wenatchee area. This picture shows you what I was talking about as far as lots of open land being available. This picture is taken from high on the Badger Mountain Road (in Douglas County) looking down (to the West) on the city of Wenatchee, in the distance. The foreground is all open land, much of which is farmed for wheat. This goes on for miles and miles.

Since it was a Sunday afternoon, my husband and I drove Northeast for about 20 more miles to come out at the town of Waterville, which is actually the county seat of Douglas County. Waterville is a very small farming town, but is the home to the beautiful old Douglas County courthouse, a school, museum, the Waterville Hotel, a community pool and a couple of parks. It's really a rather nice little town, with lots of nice old homes. The local Link Transit serves the town of Waterville with several trips a day from Wenatchee.
. In another post, I will show you some pictures of the Courthouse and the old Waterville Hotel. If you're tired of the rat race and want to get away... this could be for you!
