Here is a picture of the beautiful Douglas County Courthouse in Waterville, Washington.  This is about 28 miles north and east of Wenatchee... on what is called the "Waterville Plateau".  Unlike Wenatchee, which sits at about 600 feet above sea level, Waterville is at an elevation of about 2600 feet.

This beautiful and historic building houses the county Clerk, Assessor, Auditor, Treasurer and Superior Court.   For more info about Waterville's town history and current events, go to the town's website.
