Neighborhood News

In the coming weeks I'd like to develop a "Neighborhood News" Category for the various neighborhoods in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee,  and the surrounding areas.  For example, I envision a category for:  Briarwood, Manhattan Square, Fancher Heights, Stoneridge, Amy Court, Alfred Court, Broadview, Center Court  and all the others... at least from those areas that I can get news from.   We can have "Street News" too for those who live in areas that aren't "subdivision neighborhoods".  For example, maybe the people who live on a certain block on Madison Street or Princeton would like to have a neighborhood news section.   We can even include Rock Island, Malaga, Cashmere, Leavenworth,  Orondo, Chelan... whoever wants to participate.

I'd like to have individuals contribute news and happenings from their neighborhood.  This could include such things as family news, births, marriages, braggings, gatherings, introduction of new neighbors, garage sales, etc.   Whatever the neighborhood wants to contribute is fine with me, as long as it's not negative.  Opinions are fine as long as they're not vicious in nature.  Constructive criticism is good.   This may be a way for neighborhoods to coordinate group projects such as  yard sales.   Would you like a neighborhood directory?

For now, individuals can send information to me in my "Post a Comment" section at the bottom of any post, and I will post them to the appropriate neighborhood.   If it gets too labor intensive, I'll figure out a way to get some help with it.  I may be able to set up a public access for postings.

This blog will be a place where people can login and go to their neighborhood section to get the latest news and announcements.

Looking forward to seeing how this works.  It's for you!
Carol
