Mission Ridge Ski Area Expansion

Mission Ridge's New Quad Chair Tower

area, just 12 miles south of Wenatchee,  is in the third month of a 2.5 million dollar expansion, including a Quad Chair Lift,  snow making reservoir, and expanded snowmaking system... all with an anticipated completion date of October.

Coming out of the mildest winter in my memory,  as a 34 year resident of the Wenatchee Valley, this is a bold move for the new owner of the ski area.

2005/06 Season Passes are now on sale at discount pricing, until September 30, 2005.    The unlimited adult pass is only $279 now, with the rate increasing to $449 October 1st.  Senior rates (62-69 years old) are only $209 and increase to $289 in October.   The "super senior" (70+) is only $129 and going up to $229 after the September 30 deadline for early purchase discounts.   Here is a link to the complete season pass rate sheet

Mission Ridge is a wonderful ski area, with typically  dry snow conditions and a good  variety of runs   for the beginning through advanced skiers.  My only recommendation is to avoid President's Day week-end if you can because the crowds are insane.

Need directions to the mountain?   Click here.    Come ski for a week or the week-end and enjoy the sunshine, blue skies, fabulous views, plenty of powder and lots of groomed runs.    If you need accommodations while visiting Wenatchee, here is a link to some Wenatchee  hotels and motels.

And, remember, if you like Wenatchee so much you'd like to live here, or own a second home (as many people do)... I would love to be your Wenatchee real estate agent of choice!  Please visit my primary real estate website, where you can get a boat load of information about the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding areas...  and search the complete inventory  of our local MLS.   You may contact me via e-mail or phone:
