Cashmere - Antique Gallery Update
The big new Apple Annie's Antique Gallery in Cashmere is coming along, but missed it's scheduled opening date of July 29th. Not sure what the current antitipated opening date is but they're behind schedule and seriously over budget.
Yesterday, I noticed a new real estate listing of land next to the new antique mall. It is a 2.63 acre parcel listed for $700,000. Seems a little steep at $266,159.69 per acre but, in this crazy market, who knows what could happen. I believe this property is owned by the same people developing the antique mall so, perhaps, they are trying to subsidize their cost overruns with the sale of this property. Just speculation on my part.
When the mall does open for business it's definitely going to be an interesting place to check out. There are already several tenants lined up and plans for a whole slew of activities. There will even be an "Apple Annie's Express" bus service picking people up in Seattle, Tacoma and Everett for a day at the gallery. Currently listed as upcoming tenants are: Studebaker's 50s Diner, The Conservatory Event Center, Columbia Cascade Wine Association , Pretiola Natural Bakery & Deli, and the Washington Apple Country Gift Center & Tours.
I'll let you know when I learn more. In the meantime, for all the latest Wenatchee Real Estate listings visit my main real estate website, then contact me for additional information:
