Today Kristal Kraft, my Realtor friend in Denver, tagged me to participate in the first Active Rain Meme. 

The assignment on this one is to tell you five things you might not know about me, so here goes:
1).  I was an orphan at the age of 12
2)   I won a National Grange sewing contest at the age of 14 (55,000 entrants)
3)   I have travelled to many foreign countries (Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Wales, Australia, and Canada where my husband was born and raised).
4)  My lifelong fantasy has been to take a road trip across the U.S.
5)  I became a wife, step-mother and grandmother all in the same "I Do" in 1983.

There are a lot more things you may not know about me... but that'll have to wait until another time.
