Today was reserved for showing homes to some clients coming in from out-of-town, but they had to delay their trip.  So, after cancelling all my appointments, I took my husband, Max, for a Friday morning drive up the valley toward Cashmere.  We stopped at the new Apple Annie's Antique Gallery for a coffee and hot chocolate then wound around on the backroads for a while.  I took several pictures, but like this view toward Wenatchee of the Wenatchee River.  The bridge in the distance is the Sleepy Hollow bridge, so we are just outside of the city of Wenatchee.   The river is running pretty high because of the warm weather we had about a week ago.  It's cooled off considerably now and we've been getting some rain storms the last several days.    We only saw a few homes For Sale signs along this route.   Inventory in the Cashmere is very limited.  We rarely ever see anything come on the market in Monitor.  I only can assume that most of the property in that area, which is mostly agricultural, is passed down within families... or sold to the neighboring locals.
