Here's a link to a good article    from Bankrate.com about why you should actually read your homeowners insurance policy.   I know reading an insurance policy is about as interesting as eating a styrofoam cup, but it's one of those necessary evils.    It's important to know what coverage you do (and don't) have... and to review it regularly.
