Here is a picture of Wenatchee's very own, truly authentic, Civil War Cannon.  It is on display in Memorial Park (just below the Chelan County Courthouse) in Wenatchee.   This cannon, a symbol of America's fight for freedom, ironically was dedicated on September 11, 1915.  The acquisition of the cannon was made possible because in the early 1900's the federal government was trying to dispose of obsolete war weapons.
