Will There Be A Ski Village Near Mission Ridge?

Here is an excerpt from an article in the local newspaper a few days ago:

February 15, 2007
WENATCHEE — A handful of local investors are considering building a ski village with a private chairlift to the top of the Mission Ridge ski area.

The development, situated roughly between the ski area and Squilchuck State Park on private land, could include restaurants, hotels, condominiums and some residential development.

No application has been submitted to Chelan County.

This appears to be in the early stages of a new concept but I think this kind of a development would be very popular in our area.
