Wenatchee, WA Condo News, Info & Trends

With dramatically rising prices in the Wenatchee real estate market, condos have become the new "affordable" housing option in the Valley.  Most of these "affordable" condos are from apartment conversions.   Most are fully renovated through the conversions.

With that in mind, my newest blog, Wenatchee Condo News, was started to keep and eye on inventory and trends in the Wenatchee Valley condo housing sector.   I will attempt to focus on the affordable housing issue, but there are also a considerable number of other condo developments underway (and being planned) which will not fall into the "affordable" price range.  Some of these are part of the highly anticipated riverfront development.

Very interesting, everyone knows that real estate in our area has shot up but I would've never mentally thought of condos as "affordable" housing. Condos, to me anyway, have only meant "upscale" in the past. Definitely gives me food for thought. Thanks for the knowledge.

Yes, apartment conversions are making some affordable condo housing. New construction is all "upscale".
