What Makes A House A Home?

Could this be a home?
When I took a few minutes this morning to revisit some of my old posts on my Active Rain blog, I came across one that I wanted to bring forward and post here.  The original article was written as a challenge from one of the other Active Rain members and this is just my contribution to the question:
"What Makes A House A Home".

I would love to hear your comments on what makes a house a home... or if you even make a distinction between the two words.

Have a great week-end!

It does not take a house to make a home. I have been floating in mine for 11 wonderful years. Longer then any of the 13 other homes I had on land. Read about it at; http://sailingnightwatch.wordpress.com/. It was a fixer-upper.

Hey Nightwatch: Thanks for stopping by my blog. You're absolutely right! I say home is truly where your heart is. About 3 years ago I sold a small mobile home to a guy who had lived on his sail boat for 20 years. He had a hard time filling it up! He only moved to land because of health reasons to be closer to medical facilities. I'll check out your website. Smooth sailing! Carol
